Hi Everyone!
This is just a general update and check up on everything. How’s everyone going? Good I hope! Fighting on through hectic work seasons and finals? I’m sure you’re all doing amazingly!
First thing first, thank you to everyone who’s logged in daily, regardless of how busy you are. I appreciate it a lot, and it’s comforting seeing people check in for even five minutes. For those who can’t, I’m also appreciating the absence threads that are being put up so we know where you are. Thank you!
The first reminder is for high ranks though, as I’ve noticed a few people have been particularly absent from plot threads or the cbox. Remember that you’re expected to take part in both of these, and while I know everyone’s busy, it’d be good if every high rank could at least post a tiny reply in a plot thread and pop into the cbox, at very least if you’re unable to fully post right now. Though, don’t forget you are expected to post at least twice every two weeks, which I’m a tad concerned for some of our high ranks on. I know it’s a busy time, so nothing is being addressed on a direct level yet, but if everyone could keep this in mind and try to get one or two things in here or there it would be appreciated, as at the New Year the activity rules for high ranks will start getting enforced and will reflect back into December. Remember high ranks, you are the ones who should particularly be putting up absence threads if you’re not able to be doing things.
Secondly, of the months! At the moment we’re looking for some suggestions on what fields you’d like us to have! We’d really like to have a mix of both common categories, and some special ones. So if you have any ideas of what you’d like us to do, reply here and let us know! We’re hoping to run our first ones in January, to start the New Year!
Thirdly, the first gathering will be in early January! So for those who want to be involved, that’s the period you’ll need to keep your eyes peeled for. Our medicine cat meet won’t be too far from that, either.
Fourthly, the secret santa designations for presents will be sorted tomorrow! So if you want to be involved this is your last chance!
Fifthly, general discussions! I just wanted to put in an encouragement to everyone that if you have any game ideas, or general discussions you want to open, do please throw them into the general board! Things are pretty quiet down there currently, and it’d be nice to get some talks moving and some more games into the mix! While I know most of us do talk through the cbox and skype, it’s a good place for bigger discussions if they keep getting run over in the cbox.
Final thing, and a bit of a different point to the site. A few of you by now have likely noticed we have sister sites up, so firstly, you should definitely give HitS some love, if you’ve not looked over there much before!
But along with that, we have our two bottom links. The first one is to a slow-building top-sites list for warriors that we’re trying to boost, so if you have your own site we’d love for it to be involved, but also for CTS, it’d be great if you could click that banner and give us a little vote whenever you have the chance. <3
The second though is the one I want to encourage people to. The Moonstone is a brand new resource and fan site for strictly warriors. Right now, there’s still a lot of things hidden to guests, and a bit of ambiguity about what things are for as we’re trying to get our footing, and things are a little empty. However, the goal for this place is to offer the warriors community a place to connect, to talk among each other and start sharing resources and things together, to try and get people who roleplay such a wonderful thing together and help grow more places and stories with time. Whether you just want to talk warriors, have some resources or graphics to offer, or generally want a place to improve your writing or help others improve, we’d really like this place to grow into a place you can do these things. Our own resource place for warriors. There’s absolutely no activity requirements or expectations of you in joining, but it’d be great if you have the time or curiosity, if you could drop by and have a look around, have a chat and maybe get involved if you’d like to! The more the merrier!
